Guitars Not Guns mission is to provide guitars and lessons to foster children,
youth at risk, and other deserving children, regardless of ability
to pay. No child is turned away for lack of funds. We also provide mentoring of
children by inviting professional musicians, teachers, entertainers,
producers, and other music related professionals to speak to children
to make them aware of the opportunities a life in music can provide.
We urge you to review the Guitars Not Guns' website, and we encourage you to help start chapters of this
incredible youth music program in your community.

May, 2010: We’ve spoken with Marlene Corbitt and we will be updating this site with information and
photographs she provides to us in the near future. Also, this chapter is selling GNG candy bars
to raise funds for guitars. For information please send Marlene an email: mlcorbitt@att.net
08-27-09: We regret that we’re unable to keep this GNG chapter going in this area. We simply cannot secure enough instructors
and volunteers. We will continue to invite GNG students to our 4-6 music jams per month.
