Poet's Espresso is a bimonthly small black and white publication of poetry, art, photography, and recipes. It is available by subscription for $12.00 per year or $2.00 per copy. They value variety, appropriateness for most age groups, visual and bilingual poetry (side by side with translation), and poem lengths that fit on half-sheet pages. Poetry submissions should be poems that are beautiful, thought-provoking, or humorous without strong prejudice, hate, eroticism, profanity, or wordiness. Seasonal poetry (weather, holidays, and current politics) is welcomed. They will not consider material that contains profanity, racial prejudices, pornography or otherwise offensive material, submissions that are excessively lengthy, or illegible writing. Submissions from creative artists under age 18 must include contact information for a parent or legal guardian. E-mail submissions are preferred. For full submission guidelines, subscription orders, and additional information please visit the website.

Rainflowers.org promotes creative arts projects and exercises. It is an inspiring community of creative artists that provides web-links pertaining to art and poetry, and offers quality tools, which help to enhance writing.

Gail Lee White was born in Napa but raised and educated in Stockton, California. Her work has been published in Sun Shadow Mountain Poetry & Art Anthology, Naked Poetry, and Midnight Dance/Pathos.

I still live in the craftsman bungalow, in central Stockton, where I grew up. I worked in nursing most of my life. In 2000, I began to experience radical changes in my life. Soon after I joined a poetry group, and made many new friends. It also served as a sort of therapy group. Most of my poetry is about the human condition. I also express my love of nature and my sense of social justice. Now in my sixth decade my motto is, "It ain’t over 'till it’s over."

Stephen M. Wilson

Stephen M. Wilson served as poetry editor for the paranormal quarterly Doorways Magazine and as co-editor of the Science Fiction Poetry Association's (SFPA) annual Dwarf Stars Award for the past 3+ years.
