Through most of his life, from five years of age, with his family's Kodak 126 Instamatic, to his teen years when he helped a friend in his darkroom, until today, Steve has always had a camera nearby. He has a passion for photography, spanning the film era and now the digital age.

Steve describes his style as "freelance" because he chooses not to be limited to a certain type of photography. Whether taking pictures of the California Coast, a church event, or a local band at the Lodi Farmers' Market, Steve enjoys it all.
