WHITE DUDES FOR HARRIS is a group of white male voters who support the
2024 presidential campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris. Their
fundraiser had 190,000+ participants. The event was organized by Ross
Morales Rocketto, the co-founder of the progressive nonprofit RUN FOR
SOMETHING, and it was positioned as a complement to the WHITE WOMEN:
ANSWER THE CALL drive.
"Throughout human history, a lot of time when white men organized it was
with pointy hats on," said Rocketto. "But the reason we're doing this is
that the left has been ceding white men to the MAGA right for far too long."
In total, WHITE DUDES FOR HARRIS raised $4 million, aided by a couple of
matching bids from liberal billionaires. Reid Hoffman, co-founder of
LinkedIn, donated $50,000. The WHITE DUDES FOR HARRIS account on Twitter
was suspended following the fundraiser. The group accused Twitter CEO Elon
Musk of politically targeting them to influence the election.
