WIN WITH BLACK MEN

The #WINWITHBLACKMEN online streaming event pledged to support Vice President Kamala Harris and featured speeches from Black male leaders from elected offices, in the civil rights community and business. More than 54,000 men registered for the call, according to Roland Martin, a Black media leader who moderated the virtual event. They raised $1.3 million. The group's executive director Khalil Thompson said, "This is a huge moment for all of us, tonight will be the largest gathering of Black men in politics in recent history. We are united to support our sister, Vice President Kamala Harris for president."

Part of the proceeds will not go to the Harris campaign but will be shared among civil rights organizations that are helping to get out the vote. Organizers promise that this will not be the last call and there is more to come as they build the movement to uplift, empower, and mobilize Black men.
